Scott Beasley is a successful and experienced veteran in the daily fee, country club and resort industry with over 30 years employment.

He has a strong track record of enhancing both the top and bottom line performance through a clear, consistent focus on margin improvement, cost management and effective analysis of possible business opportunities. He delivers results through strong leadership, team building and change implementation.

Scott’s career started in club operations which is still his passion. During his career he has overseen the operation of over 100 facilities throughout the United States and The Bahamas and without exception has initiated substantial financial improvement.

In addition to operations, Scott is an accomplished Dealmaker. He held the position of Vice President of Acquisitions for National Golf Properties/American Golf Corporation (NGP/AGC). During his tenure with NGP/AGC, he closed over 25 deals. He joined Meadowbrook Golf in 2007 where he was responsible for both the operations of all existing clubs and courses as well as the development and growth of the management division and agronomic division of International Golf Maintenance.

Kathy Akers has been successfully involved in Business Management for over 20 years. She has also worked with a large corporate training and development company out of Chicago for several years, and was involved in onsite corporate training and facilitating. Akers joined the WSB team in 2014 and serves as Vice President of WSB Resorts and Clubs. She also assisted in the development of Resort Air Services, a charter air program designed for Lajitas Golf Resort. Akers is the Director of Operations for Resort Air Services and oversees all aspects of the charter air service company.

Larry Franks has been involved in the Private Club and Golf business for over thirty years. He started his Club career with Club Corporation of America (Now ClubCorp) in 1971. He was a founding partner of Club Development, Inc. in 1974. CDI was a private club management and development company. C D I was sold to the Hyatt Corporation in the early 1990’s.

Franks then began LLF&A, INC. in 1995 to serve as a Management and Marketing consulting company to the Private Club, Golf, and Resort Industry. The company offers the Private Club and Golf Industry an aggressive, yet sound and economically sensible approach to planning, development, marketing, and management of a Club Project or Development. Franks continues as a private Club consultant today.

General consulting services offered by LLF&A, INC. include; Strategic and Long Range Planning, Club Conceptual Planning, Management Audits, Target Market Studies, Market and Feasibility Studies, Management Search, Equity Conversions, and Membership Marketing & Strategies.

Terry Olson has been in the publishing business for the majority of his career working for companies including The Dallas Morning News, The Wall Street Journal and Golfweek, where he held the role of vp publisher.   In 2009, Olson founded The Octavian Group - a marketing firm that provides digital services from web and mobile site design to social media and search marketing management.   Olson joined the WSB team in February of 2015 where he applies his experience to WSB Resorts & Clubs assisting with digital marketing strategy and business development. 

Cody Joined WSB Resorts and Clubs in January of 2017. He possesses over 15 years experience working with conservation organizations and private resort operations. Cody has extensive experience in start-up operations specializing in hunting. Currently, he specializes in business management, sales and marketing, event and concert planning, and staff development and training. Before moving into the private sector, Cody had a successful 13-year career with Ducks Unlimited where he started as a biologist and moved up the ranks to the Director of Development. He received his Bachelors degree in environmental science from East Central University and his graduate degree work in Environmental Management from Oklahoma State University. Cody, his wife Nicole, and daughter Tristan live in Fredericksburg, Texas. 

Ben Beasley joined WSB Resorts and Clubs in March of 2015.  Ben, a graduate of Texas Tech University, began his career as head golf professional for Lajitas Golf Resort.  In January of 2016, Ben shifted his role to group sales manager for Lajitas and represents WSB Resorts and Clubs in a business development role.  Ben resides in Dallas, Texas.
